Community Skiing in Spokane, Washington

This park is nestled atop our very own Mt. Spokane in Mead, WA. It offers 52 ski runs and a terrain park for all sorts of winter fun for all levels of winter athletes. It’s also the area’s only nonprofit 501(c)3 Ski Area, which could be perfect if you’re organizing a group event with your church.

Mt. Spokane Ski & Snowboard Park offers group discounts as long as you make arrangements at least one week prior to your arrival. Group packages include lift tickets, rental equipment, and even group lessons. The members of your community can get to know each other, learn new ways to get and stay healthy, and maybe even discover some new skiing skills!

49° North Mountain Resort

About an hour north of Spokane, you’ll find 49° North Mountain Resort in Chewalah, WA. Their mountain services include a rental equipment shop, a snow sports school, and a Nordic Center with trails and lessons. This resort also features several restaurants and cafes, plus RV parking in case you and your community want to stay a few nights.

Schweitzer

If you and your community members are up for a slightly longer drive, you can visit Schweitzer in Sandpoint, ID about 90 minutes from Spokane. Here are a few places to stay during your visit to this mountain wonderland:
