How UConn men’s basketball coach Dan Hurley and staff scout recruits on summer showcase circuit


When UConn men’s basketball coach Dan Hurley and his employees complete with team workouts Wednesday and head to many showcase functions about the nation, they will obviously be wanting for potential 2023 and ’24 recruits.

They’ll see prime potential clients whom they have previously made available scholarships, like Scotty Middleton, Jaylin Stewart, Coen Carr and Youssouf Singare at the Peach Jam in North Augusta, South Carolina. They’ll dispatch coaches to an Less than Armour event in Chicago and an Adidas event in Los Angeles to look for for potential expertise.

But probably the most crucial players the team will enjoy enjoy will be Stephon Castle, Solomon Ball and Jayden Ross — a few guys who have already dedicated to UConn.
