Since I was a little kid, I was always over-energetic, using this energy by getting involved in different sports activities conducted at my school.
However, coming from a home where education was always kept at the forefront, it never dawned upon me to utilize my sporty skills to something more productive.
As I grew up pondering over which career direction to take, it had to be something that could be achieved through academics. As I was waiting for my results, I hoped to pass those days by doing something I enjoyed- utilizing my sporty side.

So, I got myself enrolled in some yoga classes because I’d always wanted to do the splits.
However, as fate had in store, I couldn’t get through my exams and in turn, ended up making my vacation, my vocation – I enrolled myself in a yoga teacher training course.
Over a period of time I realized how this was my calling. It was something I was meant to do, something I’d enjoy doing, something I’d be good at.

Always praying at the back of my head ‘for a peaceful life no matter what’, there was nothing better that I could have chosen for my life to become.
I had become a Yoga teacher- a life helping me balance my two contrasting traits- the over-energetic and the constant wanting to be satisfied and at peace with oneself and with everything and everyone around.
