Vet Lab golfing club will be hosting the 13th leg of the ongoing Safaricom Golf Tour this Saturday in the 18-hole study course.
“As we in close proximity to the shut of our initial time, I am delighted that the series has ongoing to have a huge impression on our young and aspiring golfers. I am similarly amazed with the achievements of our golf outreach programme.In all the areas we have hosted the programme, including the most new one in Mathare, the turnout has been impressive. People who show up at the outreach programme obtain some simple expertise about the sport and I am happy that a superior quantity have shown great potential”, Reported Peter Ndegwa, CEO, Safaricom.
This weekend’s match will see the senior golfers take to the training course on Saturday although Sunday’s function will aspect the junior competitiveness, which will operate along with the golfing clinics to be held at the exact same facility. The purpose of the golf clinics is to introduce youthful and aspiring golfers to the sport.
Given that the inaugural Safaricom Golf Tour in January, the sequence has attracted more than 7,000 members who have taken portion in different tournaments, junior clinics and outreach programmes.
Following Vet Lab, the tour heads to Royal Golf Club on 30th and 31st July for the ultimate preliminary spherical and culminates with the Grand Finale scheduled for 6th August in Vipingo, Kilifi County.
